They can confirm when I bought the speaker and it has 3 year warranty which is expiring soon so I can still send it in for repair.

So I contact B&O on twitter about it quoting my serial number. Now since the last month or so the speaker has been distorting a bit at medium to high volumes. 2 years and 10 months ago, while on a trip to Italy my mother bought herself a set of B&O Beolit 15 speakers (against my better advice) for 500 euros.
